At Camp Nageela we do our absolute best to staff our camp with the most skilled, responsible, and enthusiastic educators, professionals, counselors, artists and athletes. We understand that a camp is only as good as its staff and we are so proud of the wonderful staff at Camp Nageela.

Camp Nageela staff are hand-picked Jewish role models who model a healthy, balanced and joyful Judaism. We are proud that most of our camp staff foster connections with campers that continue throughout the year.

All applicants will receive a personal interview. All staff members must attend mandatory training before camp.

Counselors and Junior Counselors
This job is given to applicants that are handpicked for their dedication, responsibility and ability to have fun. All applicants must be post high school. Preference for teen division and older bunks will be given to older applicants.

Specialties
Specialties are what make Camp Nageela the incredible place that it is! Some of the available positions include Activity Leaders, Activity Assistants, Media Team, Kitchen and Dining Room Staff, Canteen and Office Aids, Operations, Logistics, and more. All applicants must be at minimum entering 12th grade.

Day Camp and Mothers Helpers
These staff members take care of the young children of staff families in Camp Nageela Midwest Girls. Day Camp Counselor applicants must be entering 11th grade, girls entering 10th grade may apply as a mothers helper.

Lifeguards
Red Cross certification required.
