Camp Nageela Mission

To engage tomorrows Jewish leaders to be strongly affiliated, proud Jews; to challenge todays Jewish youth to discover their hidden talents and develop them in the service of others, and to create everlasting friendships and community.

Nageela was created with the core belief that a Jewish residential camp has amazing transformative values. Our approach to Judaism is based on a living Jewish model. Campers are exposed to traditional Judaism each day during the camp program, Tefilah Huddle, Kesher and Shema Circle during the week and a full gamut of meaningful Judaic activities and programs on Shabbat.

In Nageela, campers are infused with a joyful attitude towards Judaism. Our Leadership and Cabin Staff are chosen to serve as Jewish role models.

We seek to utilize classic residential camp moments and transform them to serve a dual purpose; to provide meaningful Judaic education/inspiration, and to act as platforms for individualistic growth and development.
