The Nageela Midwest administration brings to camp 40+ years of
combined youth and camping experience. Our Senior Staff members together form a team
that is dedicated to meeting the individual needs and interests of each camper.
Known for their enthusiasm & idealistic spirit, Camp Nageela staff members create
a warm and growth-oriented environment. Our 2:1 camper-to-staff ratio ensures caring,
individual attention and rich relationships that embrace and encourage. Counselors at
Nageela are full of life and haven’t forgotten what it’s like to be a camper! Numerous
young adults apply to become staff members at Camp Nageela each year.
Only the most responsible and devoted among them join the Nageela Midwest Staff
family. Our staff members are unique individuals who are respected for excellent character
and positive leadership, while building strong and lasting friendships with each and every
camper. At Camp Nageela Midwest, a relationship forged will long outlast the three weeks
of the summer. It will continue and flourish- whether in person, phone or email- throughout
the fall, winter and spring.Staff members receive full staff training before the camp
session begins.
